Women's Christmas or sometimes Women's Little Christmas is an Irish custom, still very strong in Cork and Kerry, celebrated on the 6th of January (same day as The Epiphany). This is so called because of the Irish men taking on all household duties for the day. Men would take over of the housework, offering women a chance to go out to relax with each other.
Most women hold parties or go out to celebrate the day with their friends, sisters, mothers ans aunts.
We should have this custom all over the world, should we??
It's not fair to have just one day for that. That could be everyday!
